Join other Fulham locals for the switching on of the Parsons Green Christmas lights with a glass of mulled wine in hand.
Fulham Good Neighbours Art Exhibition: Fri 2 (11 am - 4pm)
Fulham Good Neighbours (FGN) are hosting their first art exhibition at Rosaline Hall on 2 Dec from 11 am - 4 pm to display the talents of their Art Group members. FGN are inviting the local community to come to the event and join them for a glass of mulled wine, a mince pie and conversations with the artists in person. There will be music from the Rhythm Factory, a talented group of young musicians from a local college, original artworks can be purchased and the FGN Art Club has produced, for the third year running, 2023 calendars which they will be selling for £6.00 featuring the paintings of their talented artists. All proceeds from the day will be donated to FGN charity.
Fulham Palace Christmas Fair: Sat 3 / Sun 4 (10 - 4pm)
The Fulham Palace annual Christmas fair is back for its third year. There’s a variety of activities and amusements taking place over the week-end and there’s a market featuring products from small businesses and independent brands. Browse the stalls, enjoy mulled wine, mince pies and explore the additional festivities taking place.
Their Christmas fair market is taking place in collaboration with Duck Pond Markets and will showcase fine foods and gifts, perfect for buying some thoughtful presents and with over 65 stalls, you’re bound to tick a few people off your list!
The Fulham Palace garden stall will be selling handcrafted Christmas wreaths made by their gardeners and volunteers, while the museum shop will also have festive decorations and gifts, with each purchase supporting the Palace. To pre-book your ticket click on the link below £5.00 adult, £3.00 child (ages 3 - 16), £14.00 family (2 adults & 2 children). Tickets can be bought on the day but the prices will increase by £1.00
Fulham Camerata: Sun 11 (6.30pm)
The Fulham Camerata Choir’s charity Christmas concert takes place at 6.30pm on Sunday 11 at Holy Cross, Ashington Road.
The organisers told Urban Village LDN “there is no entrance charge but we hope for a small donation from our audience in support of the Felix Project, which is a food redistribution charity in London fighting food waste and hunger. The Felix Project, set up in 2016, believes in a vision of London where no one goes hungry and good food is never wasted”.
They will be performing Vaughan Williams Fantasia on Christmas carols as well as other festive favourites which will be directed by Harry Castle.
Carols by Candlelight: Mon 12 (6.40 for 7pm start)
Join the Fulham Belles at All Saints Church, for a festive Christmas Carol Service by candlelight; all funds raised will go towards Maggie's the West London Cancer Charity.
The Fulham choir was founded in 2013 by Anna Boucher who studied music at Durham University as a pianist and cellist. The choir is open to ladies who love to sing with rehearsals taking place weekly ( term-time only) in South West London and they perform regularly for charity fundraising events. New members are invited to join at the start of each September and “encourage committed and musical singers”.
